Description
The PTB-2025 is a portable, lightweight battery-powered steel strap tensioner designed for 19.05 mm – 32 mm straps with thickness upto 0.8 mm. Powered by Bosch 18 V Li-ion batteries, it delivers ≥ 6 kN tension for secure strapping. At 4.8 kg, this durable tool ensures mobility, efficiency, and reliability—ideal for warehouses, shipping, logistics, and industrial packaging.

OPERATIONAL MANUAL:
- Fully charge the battery before starting operation.
- A fully charged battery can run 300 cycles.
- Start the tensioner by pressing the push button for 10 sec. A ‘bip’ sound will be heard and green light will glow which indicates that the machine is ready to use.
- Place the strap around the product to be packaged and place it through the seal and bend one end of the strap like ‘hook’ against the seal.
- Pull the slack end of the strap by hand and place it in between the gap of feedwheel and pressure pad by pressing the handle of the tool against the tool body.
- Now press the push button for tensioning and continue to press it unless a proper tension is achieved or the tool comes to stall position.
- Lock the strap by using suitable sealer.
- Move the tensioning tool to & fro to cut the strap and release the tool.
MAINTENANCE:
DAILY INSPECTION:
- Perform a daily visual inspection for any signs of wear or damage.
- Check and tighten all bolts and fasteners.
- Lubricate all moving parts before operating the machine – especially the lubricating point provided in the machine.
- Regularly charge the battery with the help of charger provided with the tool. The battery is designed for 300 cycles of life if fully charged.
WEEKLY INSPECTION:
- Clean the machine to prevent dust and debris build-up.
- Check and tighten all bolts and fasteners.
- Replace any worn-out components.
MONTHLY INSPECTION:
- Inspect critical components for signs of wear and replace if necessary.
- Maintain a log of all maintenance activities.
QUARTERLY INSPECTION:
- Conduct a thorough inspection of the entire system.
- Replace any worn-out components.
ANNUAL INSPECTION:
- Perform a comprehensive overhaul of the system.
- Schedule a professional inspection and servicing.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
- Before using the tool, read the operating instructions carefully.
- Wear hand gloves, safety shoe, Helmet, goggles during operation.
- When cutting the strap hold the upper portion and stand safely away from the strap.
- Do not stand in line with the strap while it is tensioned. The strap may break.
- Do not put your fingers into the Tensioner wheel area.
- Do not put your hand under the strap on the job while strap is tensioned.
- This tool is recommended only for upto 0.8 mm thick. × 19.05 mm – 32 mm width.
